MoneyCat

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

MoneyCat is built to keep your financial information on your device, under your control. This policy explains what that means in practice.

The short version

MoneyCat has no account system, does not require sign-up, and does not collect, store, or transmit your financial information. The accounts, balances, bills, and settings you enter stay on your device.

Information you enter

Everything you add to MoneyCat — account names, balances, pay schedule, bills, and your spending buffer — is stored locally on your device only. We have no servers that receive or hold this information. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, that data is gone with it.

Information we do not collect

MoneyCat has no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no crash-reporting that includes your data. We do not build a profile of you, and we have nothing to sell or share because we collect nothing about your finances.

App updates

MoneyCat uses a code-push service to deliver small over-the-air updates. When the app checks for an update, it makes a network request that may include basic technical metadata — such as your IP address and the app's version — used solely to determine whether an update applies to your build. No financial or personal information you enter into MoneyCat is included in these requests.

Children

MoneyCat is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update it here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
